About Me

I have been a professional equestrian instructor since 1968. Over the past several years I have focused on the exciting science of Brain-Based Teaching and Learning, and Student-Centered Learning. I use these concepts to coach entry-level student instructors as well as seasoned professionals in an effort to improve their skills and effectiveness. In addition, I regularly invite area instructors to events I call "Coffee and Conversation," where we share ideas, mentor new instructors, and develop updated tools for lesson programs.
